Height,
Depth
What
pain
What delight
When God's whirlwind swirls
Around us
And lifts us up to heights
We fear.
Yet, how else would
We learn to fly?
What
horror
What ecstasy
When the air we breathe
Plunges us into
The darkness of uncertainty.
Yet, it is in our groping.
In our kneeling,
That our heart recognizes
The light lingering in the shadows.
