In
addition, Pluma has produced a poetry CD and one book of poetry.
Also,
Pluma offers its producing services for videos, ranging from development,
including scriptwriting, through post production. In other words, Pluma
will assist organizations to create and tailor a video to their needs.
"We
are especially interested in helping non-profit organizations, such
as schools and churches," said Pluma Productions founder, Armando
P. Ibáñez, a Dominican priest of the Southern Dominican
Province, which is headquartered in New Orleans, LA.
History
Pluma
Productions was founded in 1992 when
Father Armando Ibáñez produced/directed his first video
project, "Mesquites Never Die" (poetry video), as part of
his thesis project, "A Theology of Poetry," at the Dominican
School of Philosophy and Theology at the Graduate Theological Union,
Berkeley, California. Since then, Pluma Productions has emerged as a
subsidiary of the Southern Dominican Province and is now headquartered
in Hollywood, CA.
